The candidate for this position will provide training and fielding support to the U.S. Army Software Engineering Directorate’s Aviation Automated Logistics team. The candidate will work as a trainer on a fielding and training team fielding new software capabilities to U.S. Army aviation units. Candidate will assist in the production and development of Training Support Packages in accordance with U.S. Army standardized training guidance. Trainers will also help to train newly assigned personnel; develop and periodically review power point presentations, training support packages, and User Manuals. Trainers will provide assistance to software engineers and technical writers in the development of on line help features. Trainers may also be asked to work in support of software testing activities. Trainers are required to maintain a professional appearance and mannerisms; assist the Training / Fielding Team Lead and Project Manager. This position requires extensive travel.
Preferred Skills:
Education Requirements: Associates degree in related discipline plus four years of related experience or HS/GED plus ten years of related experience.

Required Skills:

The position requires knowledge and understanding of U.S. Army Aviation maintenance principles and the Army Maintenance Management System – Aviation (TAMMS-A). The existing knowledge of ULLS-A(E) functionality is a must. This position requires the ability to perform platform and hands on instruction, and have the ability to interface with all levels of military and civilian personnel. Candidate must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.

Desired Skills: School trained instructor, or previous fielding and training experience is a plus.
